Aws Devops Engineer @ Indiafilings

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and maintain our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms and security compliance frameworks. Youll work closely with development teams (Django, CodeIgniter 4, microservices) to ensure rock-solid stability, rapid delivery and best-in-class observability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Provision/manage EC2 (Linux/Windows), AMIs, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers; define VPCs, subnets, security groups, Route 53, VPN/Direct Connect; implement IaC using CloudFormation/AWS CDK.
  
• CI/CD Automation: Build pipelines with CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline; implement blue/green & canary deployments (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda); integrate tests, CodeArtifact, and approval gates.
  
• Containers & Orchestration: Author/optimize Dockerfiles, manage private registries; set up/manage EKS clusters, Helm charts; define ECS/Fargate tasks with autoscaling.
  
• Security & Compliance: Design IAM policies, manage secrets (Secrets Manager/SSM), enforce encryption (KMS), and implement WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, CloudTrail.
  
• Monitoring & Stability: Create CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, logs; integrate OpenSearch/Grafana; manage incidents, root-cause analysis, on-call rotation.
  
• Framework & App Support: Deploy/manage Python (Django) & PHP (CodeIgniter 4) apps; tune Gunicorn/uWSGI/Nginx; support roll-outs, DB migrations (Aurora MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Infra-as-Code: CloudFormation, AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python)
• Security: IAM policy design, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, WAF/Shield
• Monitoring: CloudWatch Metrics/Logs/Events, X-Ray, OpenSearch, Grafana/Prometheus
• OS & Scripting: Ubuntu/Linux, Windows Server, Bash, Python
• Web Frameworks: Django, CodeIgniter 4, Nginx, Gunicorn/uWSGI
