Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LiDAR Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in LiDAR data classification specific to Transmission and Distribution (T&D) network projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both 2D and 3D mapping, terrain classification, and the classification of above-ground features. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work on complex geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform LiDAR data classification for T&D network projects.
- Execute 2D and 3D mapping and modeling with accuracy and efficiency.
- Classify terrain and above-ground features based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to interpret and analyze LiDAR data.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality classified datasets.
- Maintain documentation and support project reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in LiDAR classification projects.
- Proven experience working on Transmission & Distribution (T&D) network LiDAR projects.
- Proficient in LiDAR processing software such as TerraScan, or similar.
