Job Description
- Configure,Troubleshoot and Manage Fortigate firewalls, including policy creation, NAT, VPN, and threat protection.
- Monitor and optimize firewall performance to ensure availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage security policies, IDS/IPS, Web filtering, and application control.
- Analyze security logs and provide actionable insights to mitigate threats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related incidents and issues promptly.
- Design and implement secure network solutions using Fortinet products.
- Collaborate with the network team to integrate firewalls with routers, switches, and other infrastructure components.
- Configure and manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs for secure connectivity.
- Troubleshoot VPN issues to ensure seamless operations for users and sites.
Requirements- Education :
- Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience :
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls and Fortinet products.
- Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise-level network security.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Fortigate firewall configurations, including advanced routing, IPS, and SSL/TLS.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with other Fortinet products (e.g., FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator) is a plus.
- Certifications :
- Fortinet NSE 4 certification or any other NSE certificate is mandatory; NSE 5 or higher is a plus.
- Other relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are advantageous.
