Job Description
- Install, configure, andtroubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Implement basic networktopologies, including LANs and WANs.
- Configure network protocols likeTCP/IP, IP addressing, and routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Set up and configure networksecurity features, such as firewalls and access control lists (ACLs).
- Monitor network performance andidentify potential issues using tools like Cisco CLI and SNMP.
- Troubleshoot network connectivityproblems and resolve network outages.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- CCNAcertification or equivalent networking knowledge.
- Strongunderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, andnetwork protocols.
- Proficiencyin Cisco CLI and network management tools.
- Abilityto troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions.
- Goodcommunication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
