Job Description
- Designing Cloud Solutions: Create scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services.
- Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the deployment of AWS solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Monitoring and Management: Continuously monitor and manage AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with organizational goals.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Optimization: Propose and implement strategies to optimize existing cloud solutions for cost, performance, and security.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures and processes.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that cloud solutions comply with industry standards and best practices for security and data protection.
- Develops and implements scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Designs and executes plans for migrating legacy applications to the cloud.
- Optimizes cloud deployments using AWS services like ECS, Copilot, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
- Implements hybrid cloud solutions across different cloud platforms if necessary
- Four-year college degree in computer science, engineering or related field plus a minimum of 12 years of related experience or advanced degree with 12+ years of related experience AWS Core Services: Proficiency in key AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Networking: Understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking services.
- Security: Familiarity with AWS security services and best practices for securing cloud environments.
- Data Storage: Knowledge of data storage options and database services on AWS.
- DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Migration: Skills in planning and executing cloud migration projects.
- Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cost Management: Ability to manage and optimize cloud costs using AWS cost management tools.
