Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for organizing, planning, and executing projects. They must understand the project scope and ensure that projects are completed by working with the business teams, setting milestones, and communicating with stakeholders. The Project Manager has the authority to oversee the project on a daily basis, ensuring that it delivers the required quality results within the specified time and cost constraints and achieves the expected benefits outlined in the business case.- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business across the organization.
- Prepare Estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
- Should be able to prepare and publish project plans using agile methodology.
- Create Sprint Plans.
- Manage day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings.
- Drive Scrum calls.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
- Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- Manage project scope and changes.
- Should be able to deliver projects with reasonable timelines and meet the project goals.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline.
- Establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Overall 10+ Years & 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
- Should have working experience with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Have experience in project management - project prioritization, defining project goals and objectives, defining the scope, detailing the project plan, working with stakeholders, Project Reviews, and execution.
- Strong expertise in Estimations.
- Result-oriented individual who can demonstrate problem-solving skills, decision-making, and identifying priorities.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
- Interpersonal skills to influence, spur change and facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment.
- Strong leadership skills involving People management & Client Management.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation skills).
- Strong prior experience as either a BA or software developer.
- BA skills in document requirements.
- Strong expertise in tools like Jira.
