Job Description

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Cloud Platform Monitoring Team operates the datalake & monitoring data collection for Global Cloud Services, and by doing this helps to improve the stability & scalability of our cloud platforms. We help to improve stability and cost position of our IT infrastructure by providing data & services around data for alerting, notification, analytics,& machine learning We operate vrOps, vLogInsight, ElasticSearch, Nagios and Storage Monitoring tools in DevOps mode much room to excel and grow! We use state - of - the - art processes (Scrum, CI/CD) and tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins) to manage our infrastructure.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Do development and operations tasks related to VMWare & ElasticSearch.
• Support integrations & data flows between monitoring tools.
• Support the ServiceNow implementation for Global Cloud Services.
  

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Linux OS Operations & scripting capabilities
• Mastering of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Knowledge about Elastic stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash)
• Knowledge of Scrum & DevOps related processes and tools (Jira, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of SAP IT infrastructure processes & tools ( SPC, ItDirect, Slack)
• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent education

• 2 years of relevant work experience
