Job Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Vice President Manufacturing to lead high-precision manufacturing operations, drive innovation in medical device production, and ensure world-class operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in micro-precision components, electronics manufacturing, and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Vice President Manufacturing (Medical Devices & Micro Precision Components)
Location: Chennai Oragadam Factory
Experience Required: 18 to 25 years
Industry: Medical Devices, Micro Precision Components, Electronics Manufacturing
Manufacturing Leadership:
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for medical devices and precision electronic components.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure scalability of manufacturing processes for global supply chain demands.
Micro-Precision & Medical Device Engineering:
- Driveinnovation in micro-precision materials, high-tolerance machining, and nanotechnology applications.
- Oversee advanced automation and robotics for precision manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of new materials and technologies in production.
Regulatory & Compliance Excellence:
- Ensure strict adherence to FDA, ISO 13485, CE Marking, and global medical device manufacturing standards.
- Work closely with quality assurance and regulatory teams to maintain the highest levels of product safety and compliance.
Operational & Supply Chain Optimization:
Lead global supply chain strategies for sourcing biocompatible materials and electronics.
- Establish strategic supplier partnerships for high-precision components.
- Enhance logistics, procurement, and factory automation for cost-effective production.
Team & Leadership Development:
- Build and mentor high-performance teams, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders to align manufacturing goals with business strategy.
- Drive a data-driven decision-making culture in manufacturing operations.
Key Qualifications:
- 18 to 25 years of manufacturing leadership experience in medical devices, micro-precision materials, and electronics.
- Expertise in precision machining, cleanroom production, injection molding, and advanced materials.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485, CE Marking).
- Proven track record in large-scale factory management with high-volume production.
- Experience leading automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Apples design and quality standards for electronics.
- Expertise in IoT-enabled medical devices and AI-driven manufacturing optimization.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Work Location in Chennai and Would Prefer Candidates In and Around Chennai at our Oragadam Location.
