Job Description

Requirements:

Strong background in web application development.
Work out of hours, when appropriate, to support major implementations or to react to high
priority service issues.
Experience with query design and understanding of SQL query performance.
Designs develop and modify modules based on functional and system requirements.
Proficient in developing WordPress Themes and plugins.
Meet team and client schedules and work productively on several high profiles projects simultaneously.
Communicate technical details effectively both verbally and written to end users, team
members, managers, and clients.
Working directly with customers to resolve discovered defects.
Participate in daily scrum meetings.
Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers
can access content.
Manage front-end and back-end website development.
Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress, Shopify.

Skills:

Must have strong programming knowledge of Wordpress & PHP.
Must have strong technical and analytical skills for issue debugging and resolution.
Must have experience with HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of web standard, OOPS, MVC
and MYSQL.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Excellent knowledge of Laravel or CodeIgniter WordPress, Shopify, core PHP.
Must have a strong knowledge on API's.
Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
Experience with AWS/Azure and its suite of serving, hosting, and storage services.
Proficiency in JavaScript, including ESNext and JSX.

Experience with React and the WordPress Block API.
Understanding of CSS for block styling.
Familiarity with the WordPress REST API.
Experience with Webpack and Babel.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of WordPress data structure.
Proficient in Gutenberg and Gutenberg block development.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and relational database systems.
Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant staff.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
