DevOps Architect @ Appinventiv

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of our DevOps strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient development and operations workflows. You will collaborate closely with software development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, enhance system reliability, and foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.Define CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to automate application and infrastructure deployment.Collaborate with development and operations teams to drive a DevSecOps mindset across the organization.Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support build, deployment, and monitoring processes.Create architecture documentation and operational playbooks to ensure repeatability and disaster recovery.Provide guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers and development teams on best practices.Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure observability and system health.Ensure system security by implementing industry-standard security practices and compliance measures.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.Deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing DevSecOps practices.Preferred Qualifications:
Certified DevOps Engineer (AWS/GCP/Azure).Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architectures.Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Strong communication and leadership skills.
