Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience in software testing, including white-box and black-box testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, expertise in automation tools, and a keen eye for identifying defects and improving software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Perform white-box and black-box testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Utilize automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools .
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests for continuous testing and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies .
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Experience in API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI .
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling .
- Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub .
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
