Job Summary:


The Technical Service Analyst II will be responsible for the computer and user support of our local and remote offices across Harris, as well as helping to maintain any local server and network infrastructure. In this role, you will use independent judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations, determining when and if executive action is required, and supply a recommendation where appropriate. Responsible for timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel, regular ticket maintenance through standard ticketing system. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. You need to be able to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at the same time.


Day to Day responsibilities:


  • Field incoming IT helpdesk requests from end users, in local and remote offices, in a courteous manner.
  • Perform PC installation and maintenance.
  • Perform hands-on server and network equipment installs and maintenance as required.
  • Assist in preparing, revising, and maintaining procedures and documentation.
  • Provide training of the operations and functionality of various applications, printers, and systems.
  • Maintain technical problems history through a ticketing system.
  • Participate in special projects as requested.
  • Some miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Hardware/Software experience with PCs, laptops, and printers in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook (O365)
  • Basic networking experience with Windows file sharing, NTFS, TCP/IP, and DNS.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (e.g. Window 10); Mac OS and Windows Server.

Preferred

  • Other Skills / Experience (Service-Now, ITSM ITIL)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
  • A Strong dedication to quality customer service.
