Associate Consultant (Business and Strategic Insights (BSI) -GDC, India
Role Purpose:- Deliver ad-hoc research requests (digital market landscape, digital competitive intelligence, company profiling, patient/physician journey mapping, digital roadmap, launch excellence etc.). The role involves integrated desk research, quantitative analysis using Company data assets, insights generation, story boarding, and creation of client-ready presentations in the digital health space
Principal Accountabilities: - Operational Responsibilities o Perform extensive desk research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
- Extract data from Company data sources and conduct quantitative analysis
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for the client; Integrate qualitative and quantitative data
- Create storyboards and produce high quality client-ready presentations
- Execute projects involving digital market landscape, digital competitive landscape, digital roadmap, customer engagement digital practices, digital launch excellence, digital KPI planning etc.
- Work with minimal supervision or independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines
- Lead module(s) of the project and provide support to the overall project lead
- Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions to develop project methodology and recommendations
Other Responsibilities
- Support business development (proposal creation etc.), knowledge management, quality and process improvement
- Show active involvement on new concepts/products/innovations from the team
Required Candidate profile
Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:Graduate/Post-graduate degree from a premier institute (Life Sciences degree would be an added advantage)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAny experience in Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology/ Consulting/ Professional Services Outsourcing/Digital Health would be an added advantageAdditional Requirements:
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and draw meaningful insights
- Highly articulate with excellent presentation skills (especially PowerPoint)
- Passionate about desk research and analysis and its practical application in the corporate environment
- Should be able to conceptualize new ideas for research and give shape to them
- Understanding of global healthcare environment
- Fascination with digital healthcare and a curiosity for understanding industry trends, the latest technology developments and how the market will evolve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High consciousness towards attention to detail; drive and commitment towards delivering high quality work
- Self-motivated, with strong work ethics; proactive in identifying issues and opportunities and delivering insightful solutions
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to complete task accurately, reducing the intervention from seniors
- Strong team player and proactive in prioritizing and organizing the tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projects
- Key skill set required includes market assessment, competitive analysis, industry analysis, digital health analysis
- Creative outlook and ability to work on multiple approaches to address a problem
