Python Automation Engineer - Labview @ Embitel Technologies

Job Description

• Develop and maintain robust automation scripts in Python for hardware and software testing.
• Design and implement LabVIEW-based test systems for data acquisition, control, and measurement.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define and implement test requirements.
• Integrate instruments and equipment (e. g. , oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) into automated test environments.
• Build and manage automated test frameworks for validation, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and identify root causes of failures.
• Support the development of custom test fixtures and hardware interfaces .
• Document system architectures, test procedures, and user guides.

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 4 +years of professional experience in Python scripting for automation and testing.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW (NI CLAD/CLD certification is a plus).
• Experience in test system integration including DAQ, GPIB, USB, or Ethernet communication.
• Solid understanding of electronics and measurement principles.
• Experience working with NI hardware (e. g. , PXI, cDAQ) is preferred.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
