JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate and driven Automotive Market Research Associate to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about the automobile industry. You will be responsible for tracking the latest trends, new vehicle launches, and emerging technologies to gather first-hand market insights.

Education/Experience Required:

- Bachelors degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

- Masters in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus

- Experience required: 0 to 2 years in the field of Automotive/Mechanical Engineering

Skillset Required:

- Passion for cars and deep interest in the automotive sector (EVs, new technologies, performance specs, etc.)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong research, analytical thinking, and reporting skills

- Comfortable with fieldwork, travel, and interacting with industry professionals

- Basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, or other reporting tools

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze automobile industry trends, consumer behavior, and new vehicle launches (EVs, hybrids, ICE, etc.)

- Conduct on-site visits to dealerships, auto expos, and product launch events to gather data and insights

- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing market trends and product comparisons

- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to support strategy development based on research findings

- Maintain a database of competitor products, specifications, and pricing models

- Travel to different cities/regions to collect local market intelligence and engage with automotive stakeholders

Preferred:

- Familiarity with automotive blogs, review sites, or YouTube auto content

- Ability to photograph and document the technical details of vehicles for visual records
