Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Recruitment Lead to oversee technology hiring efforts across Canada. This role will lead end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract and hire top-tier IT professionals across various domains, including software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, ERP (SAP, Workday, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft), and data analytics. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the Canadian tech talent market and excels in building strong partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders.
Lead full-cycle recruitment for IT and technical roles across Canada.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define hiring needs and create strategic recruitment plans.
Source, attract, and engage passive and active candidates through job boards, networking, social media, and employee referrals.
Manage a team of recruiters and/or coordinate with external recruitment agencies when needed.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and high-volume roles.
Stay up to date on Canadian employment laws, immigration policies, and compensation trends related to tech talent.
Ensure compliance with all hiring policies and practices, including diversity and inclusion goals.
Utilize and optimize ATS tools (e. g. , Workday, Taleo, iCIMS) for reporting, workflow management, and candidate communication.
Provide market insights and analytics to support data-driven hiring decisions.
Drive employer branding initiatives in the Canadian tech market.
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in IT recruitment within the Canadian market.
Proven success hiring for roles across multiple IT domains including ERP, cloud, DevOps, software engineering, and cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of Canadian tech hiring trends and talent availability.
Experience with Canadian immigration and work permit processes (e. g. , Global Talent Stream, LMIA).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Canadian employment standards and equity hiring practices.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment CRMs.
Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
Prior experience recruiting in both public and private sectors.
Background in IT or technical consulting recruitment is a plus.
