Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with a proven track record in leading and mentoring development teams. This role requires a hands-on technologist who can architect, design, and deliver scalable backend solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based applications.
- Architect and implement Microservices using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and containerized environments.
- Guide and mentor a team of developers; conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders.
- Manage sprints, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Drive technical innovation and adoption of modern development practices.
- Act as the go-to technical expert for complex problem-solving and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience with Microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.
- Proven experience in leading and managing development teams (at least 2+ years).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
