Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking a QA Analyst with 1-3 years of experience in backend/API testing and a strong
interest in validating AI/ML models and data-driven systems. This is a great opportunity for
someone who is passionate about automation, data, and emerging technologies, and wants to
grow in the space of ML testing and DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of automated API and data validation tests.
- Help validate AI/ML model predictions using varied datasets and test scenarios.
- Write Python-based test scripts for backend systems and model evaluation flows.
- Perform data-driven testing by generating, modifying, and validating datasets (CSV, JSON,
etc.).
- Use Postman or scripting tools to verify REST API behavior and stability.
- Run SQL queries to validate data integrity and support data pipeline testing.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and DevOps to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Document test results and assist in identifying root causes of bugs or anomalies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in QA Automation, with a focus on API and backend testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Python for writing test cases or scripts.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and backend request-response testing.
- Understanding of data-driven test approaches using structured test data.
- Experience with SQL for data validation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to explore technical challenges.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AI/ML systems (basic understanding of model input/output, even without deep
ML knowledge).
- Experience working with data formats like JSON, CSV.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI tools (like GitHub Actions or Jenkins), or test frameworks like Pytest.
- Exposure to cloud or container-based systems (Azure, AWS, Docker, etc.).
Experience & Education:
- Proactive Attitude: Enthusiastic learner with the drive to tackle new and evolving challenges.
- Availability: Open to flexible working hours to support testing of data or model rollouts.
- Debugging and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve backend or datarelated issues effectively.
Education Background:
- A bachelors degree, or equivalent, preferably in Software Engineering and Computer
Science
