Job Description
Site Construction Management Consultancy (SCM)
The scope of work which will be undertaken by us will be as follows,
C 1: Pre-construction stage:
1. Co-ordination with Architects & consultants for drawings.
2. Preparation of Tender documents (Excluding Electrical & HVAC, Piping, Fire
Fighting, Instrumentation, PEB) along with BOQ.
3. Ground work for pre-qualification of contractors.
4. Issue of Tender Notice.
5. Conducting Pre-Tender Meeting with prospective contractors.
6. Preparing comparative statement, Techno-commercial evaluation of various
7. conditions of tenders received, assisting you in negotiations & award of contract
C 2: Construction stage:
1. Ensuring construction safety at site by way of engaging a Safety Personnel, ensuring displaying of safety hoardings through contractor, conducting safety audits, educating contractors skilled and unskilled workers including their supervisory personnel regarding safety, quality norms required etc. by conducting lectures at site.
2. Coordinating with various agencies & monitoring the work, conducting meetings and follow up with various consultants and contractors to remove bottle-necks.
3. Preparing & submitting daily, weekly & Monthly progress reports.
4. Advising you about cash flow requirement.
5. Drawing study & discussing with Architects / Consultants about deficiencies if any. Monitoring the work with respect to drawings, details submitted by Consultants.
6. Monitoring the work progress with respect to time schedule submitted by the contractors.
7. Supervision of construction work & services.
8. Preparing cost estimates & furnishing deviation statement vis-a-vis tendered quantities.
9. Rate Analysis for Extra Items, which are not foreseen at Tender stage or occurred in flow of work.
10. Checking of contractors Bills, approval of quantities & subsequent certification for payment.
C 3: Post construction stage:
1. Checking & certification of contractors final bill for payment.
2. Finalization of extra items if any.
3. Assisting you in settlement of claims if any (If occurred within Post-construction
Period. Further assistance shall be paid at mutually agreed price. )
4. Follow up with Designer/ Contractors for as built drawings & handing over to client
5. Support during installation of utility equipment/ process equipment. Role & responsibilities
