Job Description
We are hiring an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on custom application development and workflow automation beyond standard ITSM modules. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have 36 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in ServiceNow custom development. The role is open for Remote as well as our Mohali office.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and global clients to design, build, and implement scalable ServiceNow applications using App Engine, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and scoped apps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance custom ServiceNow applications and modules (excluding standard ITSM)
- Build complex workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integration scripts
- Utilize App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub to create scalable solutions
- Integrate external systems with ServiceNow using REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.
- Collaborate with product teams, clients, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver prototypes
- Conduct unit testing, assist with deployments, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and maintain high-quality documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 36 years of ServiceNow development experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in custom app development and workflow design
- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting
- Expertise in Scoped Applications, App Engine, and Integration Hub
- Strong understanding of ACLs, security rules, data models, and performance optimization
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA
- ServiceNow Certifications such as CSA (Certified System Administrator) or CAD (Certified Application Developer) are highly preferred
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Experience with advanced modules like HRSD, CSM, FSM
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices within the ServiceNow ecosystem
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
