Job Description
Job Summary - Software Developer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with a strong working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework 4.0, jQuery, JavaScript, and Crystal Reports to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise across multiple platforms (Mac, Windows) and web technologies, along with the ability to develop, configure, and maintain robust software solutions.
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and VB.NET.
- Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and views within SQL Server 2014.
- Utilize jQuery and JavaScript to enhance user interfaces and implement interactive features.
- Design and implement Crystal Reports for data analysis and presentation.
- Configure, maintain, and fine-tune IIS for website deployment and optimal performance.
- Write and execute unit test cases to ensure the robustness and stability of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
- Experience with Mac and Windows platforms, with the ability to troubleshoot and support software across multiple environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the e-publishing/typesetting industry is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a web or enterprise application environment.
Note: This position requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
