Windows/VMware Technical Support Engineer @ VN2 Solutions

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Participate actively and attentively during knowledge training sessions to understand technical concepts and client environments.
  
• Provide email, chat, and voice-based support to international customers across the US, UK, and Canada.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS and VMware-related technical issues (basic to moderately complex).
  
• Manage and respond to multiple customer chats simultaneously with high accuracy and efficiency.
  
• Deliver timely and effective solutions to customer issues while maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  
• Handle and resolve technical queries independently, escalating when required as per the escalation matrix.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams for escalations and knowledge sharing.
  
• Ensure all interactions comply with organizational policies, process guidelines, and quality standards.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and actions taken.
  
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the management.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Certifications in MCSA/MCSE, VMware, or ITIL (Preferred but not mandatory).
  
• Prior experience in a technical support or help-desk environment is a plus.
