Data Architect/Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Architect to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, ETL pipeline development, and experience working with one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). This role will involve designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that empower business decision-making.

Work location: JP Nagar 3rd phase, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the overall data architecture strategy in line with business goals.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure data models, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and manage data models, data marts, and data lakes.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to support dashboards and data visualizations.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems.
- Optimize data processing using modern cloud-based data platforms and tools.
- Support data governance and security best practices.
- Support the development of enterprise dashboards and reporting frameworks using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Deep understanding of data modelling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Technology evaluation & selection Execute Proof of concept and Proof of value for various technology solutions and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or Scala.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, dbt).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Exposure to one or more data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and real-time data streaming.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Exposure to ML/AI data preparation is a plus.
