Job Description
As a Software Engineer II - Python Developer + Agentic Framework + Cloud at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial Investment Bank Team, youll execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. Youll be a part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the Agentic framework using Python and the specified tech stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement LLM-backed solutions.
- Utilize AWS services for deployment and management of applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Implement observability practices to monitor and improve system performance.
- Conduct evaluations and testing to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the framework.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies to integrate into the framework.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Langchain, Langgraph, Autogen, Bedrock, Observability, and Evals.
- Proficiency in AWS services and experience with cloud deployments.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and its applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in developing AI and machine learning solutions.
- Familiarity with large language models and their applications.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a tech-driven organization.
