Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer - IT Infrastructure to join our team. This position is essential in supporting the IT infrastructure needs of the organization, ensuring seamless functionality for executives and team members. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various aspects of IT systems, network connectivity, and end-user support, particularly for executive-level roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Capability:
- Apple Ecosystem Expertise:
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain iPhones, iPads, and MacBook Pros, ensuring optimal performance, including OS updates and backup solutions.
- Networking Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi networks, VPNs, and secure connectivity protocols to ensure uninterrupted access during meetings and at executive residences.
- Audio-Visual Systems:
- Set up and manage AV equipment for high-quality presentations, video conferences, and meetings.
- Security Best Practices:
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to safeguard data on executive devices and home networks.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth system performance.
- Software Proficiency:
- Experience with productivity suites such as Microsoft 365, macOS tools, and remote collaboration platforms like Zoom and Teams.
- ICT Infrastructure Setup:
- Install and maintain ICT equipment including routers, switches, and peripheral devices in office and residential environments.
- System Integration:
- Integrate executive devices with corporate networks to ensure seamless access to emails, calendars, and shared resources.
- Documentation Skills:
- Create comprehensive guides and technical documentation for troubleshooting and system setups to assist team members and end-users.
- Vendor Skills:
- Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary materials or services urgently, following internal approval processes.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Effective Communication:
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical senior management, ensuring understanding and decision-making.
- Discretion and Confidentiality:
- Handle sensitive executive data and information with the utmost confidentiality and trust.
- Problem-Solving Mindset:
- Demonstrate a calm, proactive approach to troubleshooting, showing patience and resourcefulness under pressure.
- Responsiveness:
- Quickly address executive support requests with a customer-first attitude to meet urgent needs and expectations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Liaise effectively with other IT team members and departments, ensuring coordinated support and maintenance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) or Computer Applications (MCA) from a reputable institution. - Experience:
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, device configuration, and network support, particularly in high-demand executive environments. - Industry Knowledge:
Experience working in the Oil & Natural Gas sector is preferred.
