Job Description

AutoCAD Design Engineer plays a crucial role in transforming conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and models using AutoCAD software. This position is vital in industries such as architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing, where precise design documentation is essential.

 

• Design Development: Translate sketches and conceptual ideas into technical drawings, considering factors like materials, dimensions, and manufacturing processes.

• Quality Assurance: Review and revise drawings to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations.

• Documentation Management: Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation for easy retrieval and reference.

• Software Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD; familiarity with other CAD software like SolidWorks or Revit can be advantageous.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise and accurate drawings, with a keen eye for detail.

•  

• Design & Development: Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to develop mechanical components and systems. Expertia+3Vintti+3JobStreet+3

• Prototyping & Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate designs, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.

• Simulation & Analysis: Perform simulations and analyses (e.g., stress, thermal) to assess design feasibility and optimize performance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D, to ensure seamless integration of designs.
