Business Analyst/Product Owner for a Leading Automotive Company with Products like Trucks, Construction Equipment

In the role of a Business Analyst/Product Owner, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

Alignment with Business Objectives:

Ensure that products and solutions align with the economic business goals established by the portfolio.

Collaborative Development:

Collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains to facilitate the development of required functionalities.

Establish and nurture networks to gather the necessary support to successfully execute projects.

Deployment and Delivery:

Collaborate internally with the Development team to ensure thorough testing and deployment of solutions for internal customers and users.

Collaborate externally with Brand and business stakeholders to deliver products that meet market needs.

Continuous Improvement and Adaptation:

Continuously enhance and support the Product Offerings to maintain a consistent flow of value.

Program Vision and Roadmap:

Develop and communicate the program's vision and roadmap.

Work Prioritization:

Manage and prioritize the flow of work.

Planning and Coordination:

Participate in PI planning and define releases and program increments.

Collaborate with System Architects/Engineering to understand Enabler work.

Participate in demos and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) sessions.

Product Lifecycle Management:

Manage the Product Lifecycle and Technology Adoption Curve.

Oversee the maintenance of all supported versions, including legal and compliance aspects.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Represent the team in collaboration efforts and drive innovation by working closely with stakeholders on global diagnostic strategies.

Requirements Management:

Prepare RFPs by evaluating new functionality requirements.

Define product requirements that align with the architectural structure of the product.

Translate business needs into requirement artifacts, encompassing both business and system requirements.

Backlog Ownership:

Take ownership of the product backlog at both the program and feature levels.

Evaluate new Change Requests (CRs) and Bug Reports submitted to TechTool and Central System backlogs.

Technical Feedback and Solution Design:

Provide technical feedback and recommend alternative solution designs to management, analysts, engineers, and developers.

Lead investigations on improvements and proactively manage quality.

Version Management:

Recommend and manage valid versions for customer distribution.

Collaboration and Communication:

Involve concerned stakeholders and secure their involvement and buy-in throughout the entire system development process.

Plan, organize, report, and follow up on requirement activities in accordance with development processes.

Ensure requirements are correctly understood and utilized by the Agile Train.

Support scope prioritization and communication channels for end users.

Be accountable for all communication and marketing information related to TechTool and Central systems.

Agile Participation:

Actively participate in PI planning and communicate the vision for PI planning.

Engage in demos and sign-off activities as per the "Definition of Done" for Features during the development and implementation process.

Collaboration with Other Teams:

Collaborate with other Project Managers and Business Owners to assess project scope and achieve desired results.

Maintain regular interaction with customers to provide and receive feedback on the product.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

A Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics Mechatronics/Automation Engineering, or Computer Science).

Strong knowledge of electronics and embedded software development.

Basic familiarity with equipment used in electronics system testing (e.g., Canoe, CANalyzer).

Proficiency in Diagnostics Tools and Processes.

Solid understanding of agile software development practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.

Practitioner of Agile/SCRUM development techniques.

Prior experience in Project Management, Product Management, and Delivery Management is considered a valuable asset.

Ability to work collaboratively with IT and Business teams, with the capacity to evaluate technical assessments in alignment with business criticality.

Exposure to global work settings and experience with international distributed teams is mandatory.

Excellent English language skills, with proficiency in other languages and the ability to work in a multicultural environment considered advantageous.
