Job Description

As an FP&A Specialist at Schneider Electric, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for our operations in India. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide valuable insights, drive financial performance, and support strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the Digital Energy Division (India) operations.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance.
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to create and monitor KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Support the annual planning process by coordinating with different departments and providing accurate financial information.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analysis.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support business initiatives and process improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (CA with 5-7 years of experience) are a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in using financial planning software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Indepth knowledge of SAP flow of transactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the India markets.
• Fluency in English & Hindi is required.
