We are currently seeking a Salesforce DevOps Release Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

The work of a Deployment Engineer provides clients and teams with support, leadership, and direction to make sure projects are executed well and to deliver the engagement as promised.

• Negotiate, plan, communicate and manage release schedules
• Identify potential conflicts and risks with releases and mitigate risks by coordinating with Salesforce Agile Teams
• Conduct release readiness reviews and business go/no-go decision reviews
• Perform cutover planning, oversee deployments, and ensure appropriate resources are available, communicating deployment status as necessary
• Developing, maintaining, and advancing our CI/CD pipeline
• Manage sandbox environments and coordinate schedules for conducting refreshes
• Manage data loading tools & techniques to populate sandboxes with production data
• Maintain metrics on production changes (e.g., number of deployments, issues related to deployments, status of improvement items, etc.)
• Maintain key production org metrics (e.g., code coverage) and drive remediation actions where needed
• Work with development teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges
• Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to production environment
• Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
• Support post deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation and application bug fixes

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Salesforce and will be responsible for configurations, deployments in all Salesforce instances including fixes during deployments
• The Release engineer will also focus on automation of the release engineering activities for internal team and customers
• Configuration/ administration of a highly complex core application.
• Attention to efficiency and ability to spot and deliver on self-service opportunities to your internal customers, driving automation where necessary
• Ability to track issues during deployment and collaborate with SFDC developers to drive solution
• Deployment experience using DevOps tools like - Flosum, Bitbuket, Opsera, Capado etc., not limited to managing Source Code Management, Impact Analysis, Code merge, conflict analysis etc, to ensure the existing code is not overwritten / existing functionalities are not impacted and possess excellent troubleshooting skills
• Potential to manage release management for medium/complex sized projects involving many SFDC developers to maintain delivery quality in Release Management without any scope for rework
• Experience in the CRM domain understanding of overall SFDC platform and working knowledge of SFDC development and release management activities
• Should possess good verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Good to have Salesforce Vlocity/Omnistudio components deployment/ IDX tool understanding
• Preferences will be given to candidates who possess - Salesforce.com certifications like Admin, PD1/PD2 Developer Certifications
