Job Summary:
Role: Azure DevOps Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer
Mode of Hire: Full-time opportunity
The Role
- The ideal candidate must be comfortable working as an individual contributor, possess strong client-facing capabilities, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Act as subject-matter expert regarding DevSecOps related areas, tools, and processes both in Azure cloud.
- Develop Azure cloud-based and internal tools and processes to maintain stability and performance of our infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot several internal applications and respond to and resolve production issues.
- Gather, analyze, and report system monitoring.
- Ability to produce usable and maintainable documentation. Proficiency in presentation of technical and business subjects to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Intermediate programming background.
- Ability to execute research projects and generate practical results and recommendations.
- Implement and manage system diagnostics and alerts.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and zero-defect mentality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance.
- Strong problem-solving skills: innovation, collaboration, analysis, inductive reasoning.
- Good understanding of technology and its application to any business process
- Automate repetitive tasks.
- Help define and establish common and advanced system administration functions.
- Present clearly to the team members on varying levels of topics related to job duties.
- Versed in researching technologies and trends regarding strategies to support future work and projects.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7+ years of high-tech industry and/or IT work experience in product engineering, development and/or support functions.
- Minimum 5 years as a DevSecOps/DevOps engineer in Azure
- Excellent PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in Build and Release.
- Experience in Azure Infrastructure provisioning using templates such as Bicep and/or ARM Templates.
- Experience in Azure Resources like Webapps, Azure defender, front door, Azure Data factory, Entra ID, Application Gateway, Azure storage, Key Vault.
- Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines targeting applications built using Microsoft stack.
- Experience administering SQL Server in Azure VM & Azure SQL.
- Strong understanding of security concepts (SAST and DAST), including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
- Vulnerability tools: Snyk, Invicti, wiz, SQL Defender.
- Experience in Run books and automation.
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Canvas Apps) is a plus.
