Job Description
IT Security Admin / Sec-Admin
Job Requirements Brief: -
- 5-6 years experience as IT security admin / related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the security industry presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on keys security technologies and solutions and specialised expertise in one or more network.
- Good technical knowledge in Data centre architecture, Cloud Architecture, network infrastructure, UNIX, Windows, VMware, Cisco, Email Messaging Security, and Web Security is essential.
- Exposure to security software solutions like Firewall, WAF, Content Security, Intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, data protection, XDR, and monitoring SOC.
- Defending systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction.
- Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity.
- Scanning and assessing application security for vulnerabilities.
- Configuring and supporting security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software and patch management systems.
- Deep Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and hands-on experience on BitLocker Key management through Active Directory.
- Scanning and assessing network / servers for vulnerabilities
- Hand-on Experience with VAPT both on OS and Web Application and API front.
- Knowledge of Ethical Hacking and spoofing.
Responsibilities
- Installs, administers, and troubleshoot security solutions.
- Troubleshoot any access problems and implement network security policies and application security, access control and corporate data safeguards and monitor patch management to ensure network equipment and operating systems are protected against vulnerabilities.
- Ensure the network's security, protection against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
- Configuring and supporting security tools such as anti-virus software and patch management systems
- Scanning and assessing network for vulnerabilities
- Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity and work with Network admin to fix it.
- Monitoring server traffic for unusual activity and work with system admin to fix it.
- Implementation of email security standards such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC
- Maintain email security infrastructure, providing stability by developing tools, policies, processes, and procedures for the operations teams.
- Provide a secure environment, by implementing controls to manage and mitigate risks.
- Security Incident Management, Risk Mitigation Plan and Compliance Mgmt.
- Develop automated metrics reporting capabilities Create, review, maintain and update documentation including Documenting for internal and external IT Security Audits.
- Work with colleagues to provide consistent processes and solutions and Implement network security policies, application security, access control and corporate data safeguards.
- Investigate & Troubleshoot root causes when escalated from operations.
- Escalate and liaise with additional internal/external groups when required.
- Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
