Job Description
Technical Architects are responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions and service frameworks for organizations.
They work with a wide range of technologies and architectural approaches to enable the most efficient and secure solutions for business needs.
Their duties and responsibilities may include:
- Designing and creating IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization
- Working closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure that the architecture is implemented correctly
- Setting technical standards and ensuring adherence to them for product development and company operations
- Translating business requirements into systems qualities and then into repeatable design strategies and patterns
- Identifying, analyzing and resolving system design weaknesses
- Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control
- Assessing and planning for security risks and implementing appropriate measures
- Assisting in the development of IT strategic plans and software development projects
