Manager- LV Retrofit @ Schneider Electric

Job Description

1. To support the retrofit related activities for MV and LV and non-standard adopter, extension etc.

2. Understand the product features (all product ranges & variants) and take over all drawings, Engineering BOMs, choice grid and store in secure place at Ecofit

3. Electrical scheme designs for future customer orders of required product ranges

4. Ensure drawing approval by customer to meet PO lead time

5. Review of design in Autocad, CREO, Symphony

6. BOM upload in bridge SAP

7. Technical support at customer site for revamp, retrofit project execution and any other issue for resolution.

8. Technical support to vendor and site execution.

9. Support Customer Inspection in case of any customer specific requirement and adapt changes if feasible

10. Conduct RCA of any critical customer complaints

11. Maintain all drawings with revision history in server. Ensure secure storage of drawings in Symphony.

12. Ensure Quality system compliances of all technical documents as per ISO9001

13. Knowledge of IS/IEC of MV product

14. Coordination with sales and tender team to offer preparation of client

15. Feasibility check of new solution.

16. Co-ordination with Global team and development of solution for them

17. Design, development and testing of Medium Voltage switchgear, Vacuum Circuit Breakers, MV Contactors, switchgear, RMU, CGIS, load break switches etc.

18. Conduct complex design concepts and feasibility studies using hands on 3D saftwares like Pro/e

19. Develop designs to meet industrial electrical distribution market needs defined by product technical specifications and to IEC and ANSI standards

20. Conduct engineering analysis on design concepts using engineering fundamentals and analysis tools.

21. Develop and test product qualification, certification and reliability requirements

22. Manage execution of prototype design; build and test

23. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve design concept failures

24. Interact with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, sourcing, finance, product management and vendors to define requirements, validate designs, implement manufacturing readiness and support product launch

25. Develop and update product documentation including drawings, BOM's and design guides

26. Coordinate with other team members to determine time and cost effective solution to performance & quality improvements.
