Job Description
RD team in Mathco has the mandate to build offerings for our customers using cutting edge AI technologies. This team research emerging AI technologies, runs
experiments and develops concepts/ prototypes for customers. The best ideas are implemented by our customers in real-life business situations and/ or become features of Nuclios (Our platform for enterprise AI). You will enjoy the role if you like working in a fast paced set up where you are constantly experimenting with new technologies to explore real life application. While researching new technology are the key focus areas, you will be expected to work with our domain consultants to develop real use cases where the technology can be applied and taken to our customers.

Some key outcomes will be -
- Develop 2-3 innovative prototypes / concepts in agentic AI workflows in our pharma / Consumer goods and evolve it with customer feedback.
- Contribute to innovative AI features in Nuclios(Some features we are experimenting on include Automated dashboard creation, Automated narratives in powerpoint etc.)
- Publish articles to showcase thought leadership in our AI blogs; Publish papers in reputed journals; Showcases innovation in reputed conferences ; Publish a patent
- Create re-usable code modules for workflows that you develop so that other teams can use it (e.g. we have developed ML modules for timeseries forecasting at scale)
Responsible for developing demonstrable prototype applications in Agentic AI (or other emerging tech as the landscape evolve)
Responsible for leading a team of talented AI engineers, Ai researchers and also collaborating with product designers and developers to develop applications
Enjoys reading research papers on innovative AI approaches and bringing them to life in actual applications
Leads the research initiatives including publishing papers and filing patents on AI innovations made by the team
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AI Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Ensure projects align with overall business objectives and data strategy
Ability to build/drive reusable frameworks that can drive efficiency of the overall data system
Manages conversation with the client stakeholders to showcase the innovation, gather feedback and guide them through implementation if needed

Required Skills -
- Experience of 5-10 years in development and deployment of scalable AI/ML Solutions
- Advanced Generative AI solutions (LLMs, embeddings, retrieval techniques, prompt engineering)
- Familiarity with multi- agent frameworks, Knowledge graphs, orchestration
- Familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks for AI applications (Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch, LiteLLM, langchain, Promptflow etc.)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment process
