Job Description
- We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to research, outline, write, and edit new and existing technical contents of our products
- In this role, you will work closely with our product development teams to analyze requirements, take inputs from Project Managers, Tech Leads, and ensure all technical documentations meets organizational standards
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including architectural design, software and systems engineering, system operations and user documentation.
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of appropriate reference materials, including research, and design specifications.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
- Independently gather information from Project Managers, Development Leads to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentations.
- Work with development and IT team to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the workable solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
- To obtain a deep understanding of our products to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
- You have the expertise to understand and communicate the technical aspects of a software product to both highly technical as well as non-technical users.
- Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing and proofreading skills.
- Obsessive eye for consistency and technical accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand programming code and complex technical documents like software architecture document and Entity Relationship Diagram.
- As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience of 5-7 years in technical writing or technical documentations preferably for Software product-based organization/s.
- You have a bachelor s degree (B. Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or related field, and you possess a superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- You can quickly learn and understand complex topics and have reasonable understanding of the Software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in working with various technical documentation tools is preferred.
