Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Administration (IaaS & PaaS)
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure IaaS (VMs, Virtual Networks, Storage, Load Balancers, NSGs).
- Administer Azure PaaS services like App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Functions, Logic Apps.
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Akamai CDN Administration
- Configure, optimize, and manage Akamai CDN for web performance, caching, and security.
- Implement Akamai Kona Site Defender for DDoS protection and WAF security policies.
- Analyze traffic patterns and optimize CDN configurations to enhance website/application performance.
- Work with development teams to integrate Akamai services with cloud applications.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Firewall.
- Enforce compliance with Azure IAM, RBAC, and Security Groups.
- Apply SSL/TLS, DDoS protection, and WAF policies for secure cloud infrastructure.
Backup, DR & High Availability
- Configure and manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Ensure high availability using Azure Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, and Auto-Scaling.
Automation & DevOps
- Automate cloud operations using Azure PowerShell, CLI, ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Continuously optimize Azure performance and cost using Azure Cost Management and Advisor.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Skills Required:
- Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Administration (IaaS & PaaS) and Akamai CDN.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage, Networking, and Load Balancing.
- Expertise in Azure App Services, AKS, Functions, and Database Services.
- Experience in Akamai CDN configuration, optimization, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD, IAM, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
- Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Monitoring & logging experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
