Job Description

Designation: React Native

Responsibilities:

1. App Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain our application using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.

2. App Hosting & Maintenance:

• Host and maintain the application on relevant platforms.
• Monitor app performance, security, android and uptime. Handle any downtimes or interruptions with urgency.

3. Testing:

• Ensure the application's quality through unit testing, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on fixing bugs and improving application performance.

4. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the app remains current.
• Suggest and implement improvements for optimal performance, scalability, and usability.

5. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the product and design teams to create an intuitive user experience.
• Provide technical insights in product meetings and actively participate in sprint planning.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in React Native development.
• Proven experience in app hosting, maintenance, and testing.
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase and AWS.

Desirable:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
