Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and HR ABAP, and hands-on experience in HANA-based development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end development and support, including design, testing, and debugging across core SAP modules, especially in HR, and should be comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute SAP ABAP developments in both classical and HANA environments, including enhancements and custom solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom objects using RICEFW components including Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflow.
- Work with HR ABAP objects including infotypes, logical databases, payroll schemas, time evaluation, and PA/OM modules.
- Design and develop CDS Views, AMDPs, Table Functions, and ODATA services for Fiori and S/4HANA applications.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP/HANA code.
- Handle Web Dynpro development and enhancements.
- Manage IDOC processing standard and custom (Inbound/Outbound), ALE configuration, and interface troubleshooting.
- Conduct SPAU/SPDD activities during upgrade and support projects.
- Provide support for SD, MM, and FI-related customizations from a technical perspective.
- Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and DevOps-oriented deployments.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Solid expertise in HR ABAP, including core HR modules and schemas.
- Extensive development experience using:
- OOABAP, ABAP Dictionary, Reports (Classical & ALV)
- Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
- Dialog Programming, Enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Points)
- IDOC/ALE, RFCs, BAPIs
- Proven experience with HANA-specific objects: CDS Views, AMDP, Table Functions, ODATA Services
- Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and Web Dynpro ABAP
- Familiarity with S/4HANA architecture and best practices
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
- Understanding of SD, MM, and FI module processes from a technical standpoint
- Hands-on experience with Upgrade Projects (SPAU/SPDD handling)

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in clear business terms.
- Flexible to work across a global delivery landscape, including Agile, Support, and Deployment scenarios.
Good to Have:
- SAP Certification in ABAP or HANA.
- Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development (integrated with ODATA/CDS).
- Experience in DevOps or Agile toolchains.
