Job Description
Duties & Accountabilities: As a SOC Analyst, we are looking for the successful candidate to have previous SOC role experience and fundamental knowledge of technical solutions; additionally, the candidate will also be expected, triagesecurity alerts, efficiently gather event data to identify true positives, conduct vulnerability assessments and
stay up to date with the latest security developments. Your Responsibilities:
Be a face of Atech Security, both internally and externally.
Initial triage of security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM)
Operate in a rotating 24x7 shift environment to include daytime, night-time and weekend work.
Actively engage with customers on potential security incidents
Proactively analyse event data to adapt and improve detection capabilities.
Conduct Vulnerability assessments and reporting, then working with the managed service to
remediate.
Skills Required:
1+ year experience in a SOC role and team
Understanding of fundamental Cybersecurity concepts.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Security Cloud portfolio, including;
o Microsoft Sentinel
o Microsoft Defender for M365
o Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Hands on understanding of cloud service providers (Azure)
Fundamental knowledge of networking protocol stack
Knowledge of operating system internals (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux)
Ability to think Outside the box.
Attention to detail while seeing the bigger picture.
Self-initiative and strong time management
Growth mindset and the ability to accept and embrace feedback.
Pro-active and enthusiastic with a can-doattitude.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player.
Willingness to self-development of knowledge according to market, customer, and Atech
requirements
