Job Description: we are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support, troubleshoot, and optimize the cloud environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for our customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Support: Provide technical support for AWS cloud-based systems, services, and applications. troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to compute, networking, storage, security, and application performance. Strong understanding of AWS services, including AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB for microservices workloads.
- Cloud Operations & Monitoring: Monitor AWS environments for performance, security, and cost management. Proactively identify potential issues and provide solutions to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
- Incident Management: Respond to critical incidents, provide root cause analysis, and work towards minimizing system downtime. Collaborate with teams to implement incident response procedures and preventive measures.
- Automation & Optimization: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools. Continuously optimize AWS services, ensuring they meet company and customer needs with an emphasis on cost-efficiency.
- Collaboration & Consultation: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate AWS services and solve complex infrastructure challenges. Provide expertise and consulting for cloud adoption, migration, and design decisions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices for AWS infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and network security configurations. Assist in audit and compliance tasks related to AWS environments.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation for best practices, troubleshooting procedures, and cloud infrastructure configurations. Share knowledge across teams to ensure consistent standards are followed.
- Performance Tuning & Cost Management: Evaluate and advise on performance and cost optimization strategies, ensuring the optimal performance of AWS workloads while keeping costs within budget.
- DevOps Pipeline Management: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps.
- Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AWS Infrastructure engineering, with a focus on AWS infrastructure and services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with team.
Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate OR Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent certifications.
