Datastage ETL Engineer @ Rarr Technologies

1. Analyzing the requirements provided by clients and preparing Design documents.
2. Responsible in preparing the Technical Specifications with the new functionality that must be implemented for the Impacted Programs.
3. Performing all the Implementation activities.
4. Developing automated scripts for Support/monitoring production activities.
5. Mentoring team members including ensuring in time quality deliveries and providing guidance in technical and business aspects and giving optimum solution to all the issues.
6. Gathering requirements in business terms from the client and translating them into technical terms.
7. Handling the Supports activities such as Incidents, Service requests and Problem records and delivering in timelines.
8. Providing on call support for Production requests.
9. Unit, System testing coordinating with the testing team and resolving the issues, if any.
10. Documentation of the entire project process flow from end to end.
11. Performing Peer review and identifying defects in testing.
12. Providing project related training for new resources.
13. Preparing various knowledge documents through which a fresh associate resource could catch up things in an easy and faster way.
14. Defect prevention analysis at application level to reduce repetitive number of issues.
