Automation Test Engineer @ O2b Technologies

Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 45 years of professional experience in automation testing.
  
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the listed tools is mandatory.
  
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent.
  
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
  
• Experience in testing RESTful APIs.
  
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test life cycles, and defect life cycles.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using software
  
• Build and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test data for automation coverage.
  
• Perform both UI and API testing and validate front-end and back-end integrations.
  
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers throughout the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
  
• Identify, log, and track software defects and ensure their resolution.
  
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements.
  
• Maintain documentation for test strategy, execution, and reporting.
