    Job Description:
    The Purchase Manager will be responsible for handling the procurement processes related to construction and engineering materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing purchases, leading supplier negotiations, and ensuring the timely availability of quality materials. Experience with fitout projects is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and finalizing orders.
    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and vendors; actively seek new suppliers to meet project needs.
    • Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and conditions to minimize costs while ensuring quality.
    • Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure that procurement aligns with project schedules.
    • Monitor market trends and evaluate product quality, ensuring the best cost-effective solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the procurement process.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in the UAE/GCC region, ideally within the construction/engineering sector.
    • Fitout Experience: Previous experience with fitout projects or companies is strongly preferred.
    • Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
    • Driving License: Valid GCC driving license is a must.
    • Languages: Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams.
    • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
