Job Description
Job Title: .NET Developer (ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Web Services)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building web applications using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and integrating Web Services. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable and efficient web applications, collaborating with both front-end and back-end teams, and ensuring high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET (including Web Forms, MVC, or ASP.NET Core).
- Write HTML5 and CSS3 code to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
- Design and consume Web Services (RESTful APIs, SOAP) to integrate with various third-party applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement visual elements and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance, fix bugs, and resolve technical issues
- Design and implement SQL queries and manage database interactions using SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Implement security best practices and ensure application integrity.
- Work with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) to manage source code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and standards.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, new technologies, and trends in web development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with hands-on expertise in ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms, ASP.NET Core).
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and building responsive layouts using CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Solid experience in consuming and developing Web Services (RESTful APIs, SOAP).
- Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases, and ability to write complex queries.
- Familiarity with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of web application security best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
