Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium, API testing, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Wealth Management or Financial Services, and a strong understanding of test automation best practices in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API testing using Selenium and REST Assured or similar tools.
- Implement BDD practices using Cucumber to write clear and understandable test scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Create and maintain test data for various test scenarios in Wealth Management applications.
- Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and test automation frameworks.
- Solid experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Proficient in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, and writing Gherkin scenarios.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with test reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Allure, ExtentReports).
- Understanding of Wealth Management or Financial Services domain is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools or platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
