As a Software Engineer III, you are responsible for translating requirements into technical solutions with the focus of creating the best user experience for our associates and customers. You will be part of a team consisting of other engineers who will work together to deliver value and ensure code quality. Communication is also key as you will need to work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers. What youll do... Minimum Qualifications... Market Place is the gateway to Third-Party seller, we enable them to manage their catalogue, order fulfilment, return & refund management. We are the interface to all Third- Party seller @Walmart.
What you will do:
- As a software engineer ( Frontend ) you will develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience:
- Excellent proficiency in front-end technologies Excellent proficiency in front-end technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Redux, webpack, babel, Jest and related frameworks) .
- Software development by providing engineering patterns to deliver the optimal product, including implementing design patterns. Work closely with peers and senior engineers/architects.
- Partner with UX, product owners and business SMEs to analyses the business need and provide a supportable and sustainable engineered solution. Ensure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs.
- Build reusable React components with Typescript & modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, and test everything with Jest.
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Webpage test, or custom tooling.
- Experiment: This is a startup-like environment so everything can change as we experiment with new ideas.
- Hack, extend and improve open-source tools/framework.
- Develop applications using industry best practices. Adjust adopt new methodologies that provide the business with increased flexibility and agility.
- Stay current with latest development tools, technology ideas, patterns and methodologies, share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key stakeholders.
What you will bring:
- B.E./B. Tech/MS/MCA in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of High-level proficiency in using the following technologies to build modern web experiences: JavaScript, Typescript , React , React-Native , HTML, and CSS/SASS
- Extensive experience building web applications using MVC frameworks (ReactJS) for REST applications.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
- Proven ability to lead a group through an architectural development process and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Logging & Monitoring tools like Quantum Metrics, Splunk, Grafana etc.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
- Understanding of frontend security and performance.
