Job Description
Hiring For Software Tester
Position Summary
To verify the quality and functionality of our software products, we are looking for a software tester that is logical and detailed. A candidate will work with the development team to find errors, make sure the product satisfies specifications, and improve customer satisfaction in general
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover functional and non-functional testing.
Design automated and manual test scripts based on system requirements.
Execute test cases across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
Perform functional, regression, performance and usability Testing
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in collaboration with the development team.
Prepare detailed test reports and summaries.
Work closely with developers, product managers, to resolve issues.
Provide recommendations for improvements in software usability and functionality.
Use testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar platforms.
Ensure test environments are prepared and up-to-date for testing activities.
Stay updated with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in software testing.
Advocate for quality within the development process.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
1 to 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in testing methodologies (manual and automated).
Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman)
Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
