Job Description
Senior .NET Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with expertise in C#, .NET Core, WPF, Web API, MVC, and SQL Server to design, develop, and integrate software applications. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with Business Analysts, Architects to build high-performance applications for internal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Create WPF applications using C# and XAML to build interactive and responsive UI screens.
- Integrate business logic with SQL Server databases using optimized queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Develop and optimize back-end services to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for performance tuning.
- Design and manage SQL Server database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Implement and manage SQL Server scheduled jobs to automate tasks.
- Work in an Agile software development environment using JIRA, Wiki, and Git.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Senior Developers to define technical specifications and solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, debugging, and unit testing.
- Knowledge of TFS Release Management and deployment processes.
- Maintain version control and documentation using Microsoft Visual Studio and Git.
Skillset & Experience Required:
Must-Have Skills:
- .NET Technologies: .NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
- UI Development: WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), XAML
- Front-End Development: JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, JSON
- Database: SQL Server (Queries, Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Scheduled Jobs)
- Development Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, JIRA, Wiki, Git
- Agile Methodology: Scrum, Kanban
Good to Have:
- Experience with Windows Services and Multi-threading
- Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture
- Ability to work with large-scale applications and enterprise-level projects
- Experience in performance tuning and security best practices
Minimum Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development and related technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support application launches when needed.
