Lead Software Engineer Backend (Java | Spring Boot | Microservices | AWS)

Location: Hyderabad, India | Division: Titan Smart Labs, Titan Company Limited.

About the Role

As a Lead Software Engineer (Backend), you will be at the forefront of developing scalable and distributed systems that power our smartwatch ecosystem.
Youll work closely with cross-functional teams Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to build innovative and reliable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams and stakeholders across Titan Smart Labs.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and robust architectural practices.

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE backend development.
• Proficient in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JPA frameworks.
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with Microservices architecture and related best practices.
• Good understanding and exposure to design patterns is preferred.
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with application servers like WebLogic and JBoss.
• Strong understanding and working experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems is a valuable addition.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with build tools like Maven and working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade backend systems.
