Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with a strong background in test automation, including performance testing using K6, API/UI automation using Pytest, and experience in UI testing tools. You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, and DevOps to build and maintain a robust testing framework that ensures product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
- Develop and execute performance tests using K6 for backend services and APIs.
- Build and maintain UI test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and report quality metrics.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and resolve defects.
- Develop reusable test components and utilities for broader team use.
- Document test strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Python development with focus on test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pytest for API and functional testing.
- Experience with K6 for performance/load testing.
- Good understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and backend services.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
- Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test code.
